Common questions about escape rooms in Stockholm
How many people can play?
Most escape rooms and VR games at Questrooms are designed for 2–6 players. For beginners, we recommend 3–6 players. For larger events or team building in Stockholm, we can host bigger groups across multiple rooms or games.
How long does an escape room take?
The full experience usually takes around 1.5 hours: 15 minutes for briefing and instructions, 60 minutes for gameplay, and 5–10 minutes for debrief and discussion.
How much does it cost?
Prices depend on the number of players, time, and day. The more players you have, the lower the price per person. You can pay on-site after the game by card, Swish, or invoice (for companies).
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. You can use the link in your confirmation SMS to change the number of players up to 15 minutes before the game. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the game; otherwise, an 800 SEK fee applies.
Who can play escape rooms at Questrooms?
Everyone can play! Our escape rooms in Stockholm are suitable for families with kids, teens, friends, couples, and corporate team building. No special skills are needed. However, participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
Do I need to know English or Swedish to play escape rooms?
No. The puzzles are language-independent, so both tourists and locals can enjoy our escape rooms in Stockholm. Game instructions are available in both English and Swedish.
Do I need experience to play?
No prior experience is needed. Our escape rooms are designed for beginners, families, and experienced players alike. Game Masters will guide you before you start.
Are escape rooms wheelchair accessible?
VR escape rooms are generally fully playable from a wheelchair. We don’t have a lift, but there’s a staircase, and our team will help you get down so you can play in any of the VR rooms. We recommend contacting us in advance.
Escape rooms in Stockholm – right on Södermalm
Questrooms is an escape room in Stockholm with classic rooms, VR escape rooms and outdoor AR adventures – all from one address: Kocksgatan 21A, a few minutes' walk from Medborgarplatsen. You have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and get out, and most rooms suit 2–6 players.
No experience needed. The game master explains the rules before you start, follows the game throughout and gives clues whenever you ask. Allow about an hour and a half for the whole visit. Prices start at 369 kr per person and drop the more of you there are.

Classic rooms, VR and outdoor adventures
In the classic rooms you hunt for real clues among real locks – from the fear of Horror Escape to 1990s Russia in Russian Mafia and time travel for the younger ones. In VR you step into worlds no one could build: a space station, Chernobyl or Wonderland. Our two VR rooms have ten stations between them, so up to ten people can play the same game at once with Back-to-Back. Outdoors, Södermalm becomes the game board: you get a tablet and a mission, and the clues appear in augmented reality.
Team building, parties and school classes
For companies we have ready-made team building packages for 10 to 38 people with several teams playing at once, and with Quest-to-Go we bring the game to your office or conference for 19 to over 200 participants. We host children's parties with a room of their own for ages 8–12, hen and stag parties, and school classes where teachers play free.
Good to know
Instructions are in Swedish and English, and the puzzles do not depend on language. The VR games and outdoor adventures can be played from a wheelchair – let us know in advance and we will help. You pay on site by card or Swish, and companies can pay by invoice. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start. To give an adventure, there are gift cards valid for a year.
