Gamers in Stockholm on DreamHack weekend can play a VR escape room together: controllers in hand, a headset instead of a screen, and one shared mission. Questrooms on Södermalm runs 16 VR games in two VR rooms with 10 stations in total. Each game lasts 60 minutes, for 2 to 6 players, or up to 10 with BACK-TO-BACK.

How does BACK-TO-BACK work for a group of 10?
BACK-TO-BACK links the two VR rooms at Questrooms so 7 to 10 players share one game. In Versus mode two teams play two parallel sessions, one in each VR room, and race through the same VR game; the first team to finish wins. In Co-op mode up to 8 players work toward one goal, for example in Escape the Worlds.
To book it, choose your game in the booking calendar and write "Back to back" in the comment; Questrooms assigns the rooms, or email hello@questrooms.se for help. Seats split automatically: 7 players become 4 + 3, 9 become 5 + 4, 10 become 6 + 4. A booking over two rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start; after that the fee is 1000 SEK per room.

How do you get from Stockholmsmässan to Questrooms?
Stockholmsmässan sits next to Älvsjö station on the commuter rail, and Questrooms is at Kocksgatan 21A on Södermalm, a few minutes' walk from Medborgarplatsen metro station. According to Stockholmsmässan, the commuter train from Älvsjö to Stockholm City takes about 9 minutes and runs 8 to 14 times an hour.
From T-Centralen the green metro line goes south to Medborgarplatsen. Check the full route in the SL journey planner before you leave the halls.
The venue is a basement: look for the Questrooms sign and ring the doorbell. Arrive 15 minutes early, and use the lockers for backpacks.
What does a VR escape room in Stockholm cost?
A VR escape room at Questrooms costs 369 to 409 SEK per person, depending on how many players share the room. Two players pay 409 SEK each and six pay 369 SEK each. Groups of 7 to 10 in BACK-TO-BACK pay 369 SEK each. You pay on site after the game, by card or Swish.

Can we play a VR escape room in English during DreamHack weekend?
Yes. The VR games at Questrooms run in English and Swedish, and many titles support more languages. Write "English" in the booking comment, and the game master gives the briefing and the clues in English. Ask before the game starts which other languages your title supports, because the options differ from game to game.
Do I need VR experience to play?
No. The game master explains the controls before the game, and you move by teleporting, so you can sit or stand for the whole game. Some players feel slightly dizzy in rare cases, and it passes when the headset comes off. If you play a lot already, pick a game rated 4 or 5 out of 5.
Can we play two different VR games in one booked slot?
No. Each booked hour at Questrooms covers one VR game, because switching games halfway would leave both experiences incomplete. If your group wants two games, book two slots in a row in the calendar. You can change which game you play on site before the start, as long as the new game fits your group size.
How late can we start a game on Sunday 29 November?
