Can you do an escape room alone? The honest answer

No: every game at Questrooms needs at least 2 players. Here is why, what a team of two pays, and which game suits two in Stockholm.

No, you cannot do an escape room alone at Questrooms. Every game, classic, VR and outdoor, needs at least 2 players, and the team cannot pair single players with other groups. "How much for 1 person?" comes up often in the chat, and the answer is always the same: one friend is enough. A game for 2 players costs 409 SEK per person, and every format at Kocksgatan 21A on Södermalm is open to a team of two.

Why can't you do an escape room alone?

The escape room minimum players at Questrooms is 2, because the games are built for teamwork. The puzzles ask players to share what they find, split tasks and talk to each other. In the VR games, players see and hear each other inside the game and must cooperate to move forward, so one player cannot finish the game as designed.

Can a solo traveller join another group?

No. Questrooms cannot pair single players with other groups, so there is no shared slot for a solo traveller in Stockholm to join. Each booking is a game for the group that booked it. If you are alone in the city, bring one person you know, or give a friend a gift card and play together.

A gift card for 2 people costs 818 SEK, or 736 SEK with the code QUEST10. It arrives as a PDF by email and is valid for 1 year. Among things to do alone in Stockholm, an escape room is not one, but it becomes one when a friend says yes.
