Yes, you can book an escape room today in Stockholm at Questrooms, as long as a time is free. Online booking stays open until 3 hours before each start time, and for a game sooner than that you call 08-543 544 02. "Do you have any free games tonight?" is a question customers often send to the chat, so here is how same-day booking works, and why drop-in is a bad idea.
Can you book an escape room for today?
Yes. The booking calendar at Questrooms shows every free time for the next 21 days. Online booking closes 3 hours before each start time, because a game master has to be scheduled for your game. For a start within the next 3 hours, call 08-543 544 02 and the team checks what is free.
The last game of the day starts at 21:00 from Monday to Thursday, at 22:30 on Friday and Saturday, and at 19:30 on Sunday. On holidays Questrooms is open, but the hours can differ, so check the calendar.
What if your game starts in less than 3 hours?
Call 08-543 544 02. Online booking closes 3 hours before each start, but a time can still be free, and the team on the phone can tell you. If nobody answers, choose another option in the phone menu, or email hello@questrooms.se. Same-day booking works the same way for classic rooms, VR and outdoor games.
| Your situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The start is more than 3 hours away | Book online in the booking calendar |
| The start is within 3 hours | Call 08-543 544 02 |
| Nobody answers the phone | Choose another option in the phone menu, or email hello@questrooms.se |
| Kids' birthday package | Book at least 2 days ahead; for a last-minute party, call |
| A group of 7 to 10 | Book both VR rooms for BACK-TO-BACK, or two rooms at the same time |
Can you drop in without booking?
Drop-in is not recommended. If no game is running at that moment, there may be no staff at Kocksgatan 21A to open the door. Even if you are already on Södermalm, book online or call first. That way a game master is ready, and you know your game and your start time before you walk down to the basement.
For a last minute plan, the VR games are a flexible choice: you pick a game when you book and can change it on site. See the VR escape rooms for what is on, or start with Mission Sigma VR, difficulty 2 of 5.

How far ahead can you book an escape room at Questrooms?

Can we play an outdoor game today?
Yes, if a time is free. The outdoor games Operation Mindfall and Magic Portal follow the same rules as the rooms: book online up to 3 hours before the start, or call 08-543 544 02 for a later start. Both games start and finish at Kocksgatan 21A, and each team gets an iPad.
Do I get a confirmation for a same-day booking?
Yes. After an online booking you receive an SMS with a link where you can change the number of players, reschedule or cancel. If the SMS does not arrive, check your spam folder and then email hello@questrooms.se. You pay on site after the game, by card or Swish.
