Class Reunion in Stockholm: An Activity That Gets Everyone Talking

A class reunion often starts awkwardly. People stand in the same groups as at school and talk about jobs and housing.

A class reunion often starts awkwardly. People stand in the same groups as at school and talk about jobs and housing. An activity at the start mixes the group up and gives everyone something new to talk about. This guide gives you class reunion ideas in Stockholm, how to plan the day and how to split up a large group.

Why an activity at the reunion?

After many years, it is easy to slip back into old roles. A shared task breaks that pattern. When you solve a puzzle together, you have to talk straight away, and the person who has not been in touch for ten years suddenly has a role in the team. Afterwards there is a new story to share at dinner.

Reunion ideas

An escape room in mixed teams One room takes 2–6 players and you have 60 minutes. Mix the teams on purpose, so old best friends do not end up together. At Questrooms you can choose classic rooms like Russian Mafia, or Horror Escape for groups who want a scare (18+ recommended, minimum 3 players).

VR, team against team With BACK-TO-BACK, our two VR rooms connect. Up to 10 players split into two teams and race through the same mission, for example class A against class B.

A mission on Södermalm Operation Mindfall is an augmented reality spy game on the streets of SoFo, for 2–10 players per team aged 16+. It turns into a walk through the city with a shared goal.

How to split up a large group

Group size Suggestion Time
7–8 Two physical rooms at the same time About 1.5 hours
7–10 BACK-TO-BACK VR About 1.5 hours
13–20 Three rooms at the same time About 1.5 hours
21–26 Four groups in two rounds, with fika in the lounge in between About 2.5 hours

If you are more, or want to meet at your own venue, we can bring the AR game Quest-to-Go to you. Then 19–500 people play at the same time.

A plan for the day

  1. Gathering and briefing. Arrive 15 minutes early. The game master explains the rules in English or Swedish.
  2. The game, up to 60 minutes.
  3. Hang out in the lounge. At Questrooms you can rent the lounge and compare how the teams did.
  4. Dinner. Södermalm and SoFo have plenty of restaurants within walking distance of Kocksgatan 21A.

Game first, toast after. Questrooms has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs, and anyone who is intoxicated cannot play.

Tips for the organiser

  • Set the teams in advance. Mixed teams get more people talking to each other.
  • Pick rooms to suit the group. If some people do not want to be scared, choose a room without horror, like Russian Mafia, or a VR game like Survival VR.
  • Book early. The booking calendar opens 21 days ahead. For bigger groups, get in touch through private events.

Price and booking

The price depends on how many you are, and the more players, the lower the price per person. You see the current price when you book, and we plan bigger reunions with you through private events.
