Sales teams live with targets, numbers and pace. Sometimes the team needs to do something completely different together: after a tough quarter, before a new campaign, or simply to meet outside the pipeline. This guide gives you activity ideas that suit sales teams, with room for the competitive streak, and how to set them up.
When does an activity suit the sales team?
- After a tough quarter, to bring the team back together.
- Before a new sales period, as a shared start.
- When new sellers have joined, so they get to know the rest of the team.
- When the team sits in different offices and rarely meets.
Activities where sellers get to compete
Team against team in VR With BACK-TO-BACK, two VR rooms connect. Up to 10 players split into two teams, for example 5 vs 5, and play the same mission. The team that finishes first wins.
Parallel rooms with a comparison Larger teams split into groups of 2–6 who play different rooms at the same time. Afterwards you compare times and hints used. Russian Mafia is tricky, Horror Escape brings adrenaline (18+ recommended, minimum 3 players).
A scoreboard for the whole department With Quest-to-Go, 19–500 people play at the same time in teams, and the scoreboard is shown at the end during the award ceremony. The game can come to your office or a conference venue.
A mission in the city Operation Mindfall is an AR spy mission on the streets of SoFo, with a difficulty of 4 out of 5. It suits teams who want to move around.
What happens in the team?
In an escape room or VR game, the format creates situations where participants need to communicate, prioritise and make decisions together, under time pressure. That describes how the game works, not a promise about how it affects sales.
A plan for the day
- Gathering and briefing in English or Swedish.
- The competition in teams, up to 60 minutes.
- Results and award ceremony.
- Dinner, where the winning team gets to tell how they did it.
Game first, party after. Questrooms has a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs.
Tips for a good activity
- Mix the teams, so sellers from different regions or segments play together.
- Keep it short. An hour of play and a dinner is enough.
- Celebrate every team, not only the winners.
- Choose rooms to suit the team. Not everyone wants a scare, so have options without horror.

Frequently asked questions
Which activity suits a sales team? An activity with a competitive element, for example BACK-TO-BACK where two teams play the same VR mission, or parallel escape rooms where teams compare times afterwards. At Questrooms on Södermalm, a game takes 60 minutes.
Can the whole sales department play at once? Yes. With Quest-to-Go, 19–500 people play at the same time in teams at your office or a conference venue, and the game ends with a scoreboard and an award ceremony.
Does an activity improve sales? Nobody can promise that. The format creates situations where participants need to communicate, prioritise and make decisions together, but what the team takes away depends on the team.
Does it work for international sales teams? Yes. The briefing is given in English or Swedish, and the puzzles are not language-dependent.
