A small team does not need a big event. With 5–12 people, everyone can be active the whole time, and the plan is simple to put together. This guide covers the formats that suit a small team at Questrooms on Södermalm, from a single room to two teams competing against each other.
Why small teams suit escape rooms
- Everyone takes part. In a room with 2–6 players, nobody stands on the sidelines.
- Conversations come naturally. A shared task makes it easier to talk, even for someone who is new.
- Simple logistics. You fit in one or two rooms, and the whole visit takes about 1.5 hours.
Setups by group size
| People | Setup | Time |
|---|---|---|
| 5–6 | One escape room or VR game, the whole team in one group | About 1.5 hours |
| 7–10 | BACK-TO-BACK in two connected VR rooms, or two physical rooms at the same time | About 1.5 hours |
| 8–12 | The Team Start package: two groups play at the same time and compete for the fastest time | 1.5 hours |
5–6 people. The whole team plays together. Book an escape room or a VR escape room directly. Russian Mafia is our hardest physical room, and Survival VR brings tension without horror.
7–10 people. In BACK-TO-BACK, up to 8 players can join the same session, or up to 10 split into two teams competing in the same game. If you would rather play physical rooms, two teams can play different rooms at the same time, for example Horror Escape and Russian Mafia, and compare afterwards.
8–12 people. In Team Start, you split into two groups that play at the same time for one hour and compete for the fastest time. See the package on team building.
Outdoors if the weather allows
Operation Mindfall is an AR mission on the streets of SoFo for 2–10 players, from age 16. If you are more than 6, you split into two teams that play at the same time. The mission starts and ends at Kocksgatan 21A, and each team gets a bag with an iPad.
What happens in the team?
In an escape room, the format creates situations where participants need to communicate, prioritise and make decisions together. That describes how the game works, not a promise about the outcome.

Price and booking
The price depends on how many you are, and the more players, the lower the price per person. If you are 5–6, you see the current price directly in the booking. For Team Start, current prices are on team building, and you can estimate your group in Calculatus.
Frequently asked questions
Which team building suits a small team? With 5–6 people, the whole team plays one room together. With 7–12 people, two teams playing at the same time work well, in BACK-TO-BACK, in two physical rooms or in the Team Start package.
Can two teams compete against each other? Yes. In BACK-TO-BACK, two teams play the same VR game at the same time, and whoever finishes first wins. In Team Start, two groups compete for the fastest time.
How long does it take? About 1.5 hours, with a briefing before and time for results after the game.
Does anyone need to have played before? No. No prior knowledge or VR experience is needed, and the game master explains the rules before you start.
