1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Sleep Sounds: Fan, Rain, Noise mobile application ("App"), published by Questroom AB, org. no. 5569838526 ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to Google Play's Terms of Service and these Terms. The sounds in the App are licensed for listening within the App only; you may not extract, record, or redistribute them.

3. Health & Safe Listening

The App plays ambient sounds such as fan, rain, and white, pink, or brown noise to help you relax, focus, or fall asleep. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent insomnia, tinnitus, or any other medical condition. If you have ongoing sleep or hearing problems, consult a healthcare professional.

Keep the volume at a comfortable, low level, especially when listening for long periods or through headphones.

When playing sounds for a baby or child, keep the device away from the bed or crib and the volume low.

Do not rely on the App as an alarm or as a way to stay alert, and do not use it in situations where you need to hear your surroundings, such as while driving.

4. In-App Purchases

Some sounds, features, or content within the App require payment via Google Play Billing. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and may include applicable local taxes. All payments are processed by Google Play; we do not store your payment card data.

5. Subscriptions

Where the App offers subscriptions, they automatically renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time via Google Play → Subscriptions. Except where required by applicable law or Google Play policy, no partial refunds are issued for unused subscription periods.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertising served by Google AdMob. Ad content is selected and controlled by Google and its advertising partners; we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. We aim not to interrupt sound playback with ads.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

You agree not to extract, copy, or redistribute the App's audio files.

You agree not to use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation.

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the App's operation or servers.

You agree not to attempt to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate the App's purchase mechanisms.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, sounds, and other content, is owned by Questroom AB or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the App will improve your sleep or that playback will continue uninterrupted, for example if your device's battery-saving settings stop background audio.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Questroom AB's total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 6 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection law, including for consumers residing in the EU/EEA.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Where you reside elsewhere, mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
