Terms for the Questrooms account
These terms apply to your Questrooms account and to the points programme that comes with it. The account is free. You accept the terms when you create the account with the form and tick the box "I am at least 16 years old and accept the member terms", or when you sign in with a code or link we emailed to the address you booked with. There it says that signing in means you accept the terms. The terms are an agreement between you and us. Please read them before you accept them.
Version 2026-10
1. Who we are
The account and the points programme are run by Questroom AB, company registration number 556983-8526.
In these terms we call ourselves "we" or "Questrooms". You, the account holder, are called "you" or "member".
- Address: Kocksgatan 21A, 116 24 Stockholm, Sweden
- Email: hello@questrooms.se
- Phone: +46 8 543 544 02
- Website: questrooms.se
2. Who can join
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If we learn that a member is under 16, we delete the account.
Each person can have one account. Each email address can belong to one account. The account is personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
If you create the account with the form, you give your first name, last name, email address and a password. The password must have at least 12 characters. Phone number, birthday (day and month, no year) and invite code are optional. You can create the account without them. We use your birthday only for a birthday greeting, and only if you have chosen the newsletter.
Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has got into your account, change your password and contact us.
3. Your email address is confirmed
Before the account opens, we send a six-digit code or a sign-in link to your email address. You use the code or link to show that the address is yours.
This is needed because the account shows every booking made with that address, and points and the members' code depend on it. Without a confirmed address, the account does not open.
4. How you earn points
The points are called Quest Points (QP). They are shown in the points history in your account.
You earn points for games when the games were booked with the account's email address and have been played. This is how you earn points:
- 1 QP for every krona the booking cost after discounts, for a game you have played.
- 50 QP extra for every game you have played.
- 10 QP the first time you open your account each day.
- 50 QP when you rate a game by answering our rating email.
- 1 000 QP when a friend you invited with your link creates an account and plays a game (the conditions are in section 13).
5. Games you played before you had the account
When you create the account, we count games that were already booked with your email address and that you have played. How much they give depends on how long before the account the game was, counted from the day you create the account:
- Less than 12 months before: full points.
- From 12 months up to, but not including, 24 months before: half the points.
- 24 months or more before: a quarter of the points.
6. What points are worth and how rewards work
10 QP are worth 1 kr off. You use your points by redeeming a reward in your account. You then get a discount code.
A code is valid for 90 days from the day you redeem it. You enter the code in the discount code field when you book.
Points and codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Points cannot be sold or moved to another account. Codes may not be sold, but you may give a code away (see below). If the code is worth more than the booking, the code is still used up. What is left over is lost and is not paid out.
- 1 000 QP give a code for 100 kr off one booking.
- 2 000 QP give a code for 200 kr off one booking.
- 4 000 QP give a code for 400 kr off one booking.
- Each code can be used once. What happens if the booking is cancelled is in section 8.
- You can use one code per booking. The code replaces a campaign discount. It is not added on top.
- You may give the code to a friend. Whoever books with the code gets the discount.
7. Points do not expire
Your points do not expire over time. They stay as long as you have the account and the programme exists, except in the cases in sections 8 and 14.
What does have an end date is the codes: a redeemed code is valid for 90 days (section 6).
8. Cancellations and no-shows
If a game is cancelled, or the booking is recorded as a no-show, we take back the points the game gave.
If you used a reward code on a booking that is cancelled, you can use the code again. It is valid until the same end date as before. The time is not extended.
9. If something looks wrong
Points are counted automatically from the bookings made with the account's email address. If a game is missing, it was usually booked with another address.
Think something is wrong? Write to hello@questrooms.se and we will look into it.
10. Ranks
Your rank follows all the QP your account has received, including points for games before you had the account. Points you have spent still count, so your rank does not drop when you redeem a reward. If we take points back under section 8 or 14, your rank can drop.
A higher rank gives more points per krona. This applies to games you play after you reach the rank, never to games you have already played.
- Recruit: from 0 QP.
- Agent: from 2 000 QP, 10 % more points per krona.
- Expert: from 8 000 QP, 25 % more points per krona.
- Legend: from 20 000 QP, 50 % more points per krona.
11. XP, levels and Code Breaker
Besides points, you earn experience (XP). XP shows how much you have played with us. Your level is worked out from your XP.
Code Breaker is a puzzle in the account that you play in your browser. You get XP for one win a day.
XP and levels have no monetary value. They give no discount and cannot be exchanged for points or codes. When we develop the account, we may change Code Breaker and how XP and levels are counted. We do not remove XP you have already received. These changes never affect your points or codes.
- 500 XP for every game you have played.
- 50 XP when you rate a game.
- 150 XP when you win Code Breaker, once a day.
12. The members' code MEDLEM10
As a member, you can use the code MEDLEM10. It gives a 10 % members' discount on the booking.
The code only works when you book with the account's confirmed email address. You enter it yourself in the discount code field. The code replaces a campaign discount and cannot be combined with other codes or with a reward code. If the campaign discount is bigger, book without the code. For children's and teens' seats, the bigger discount applies, not both.
13. Inviting friends
Your account has a personal link you can share. You get 1 000 QP when all of the following are true:
- Your friend is new: they have never had an account with us.
- Your friend creates their account with your link or your invite code and confirms their email address.
- Your friend plays a game with us after creating the account. The game must be booked with the same email address as their account and must not be cancelled or a no-show.
- You do not invite yourself, for example with another email address.
14. Misuse
The account may not be used for cheating or fraud. Examples are several accounts for one person or inviting yourself.
If an account is used in that way, we may remove points earned through the misuse. We may also close the account. Before we close the account, we email you and tell you why. You have 14 days to reply. Points you earned honestly can be redeemed during those 14 days. Points not redeemed when the account is closed are lost.
15. Changes to these terms
We only change these terms for one of the four reasons in the list below.
If a change is to your disadvantage, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not want to continue under the new terms, you can delete your account. During those 30 days you can redeem rewards as usual.
If you use the account after the new terms take effect, you have accepted them.
Changes that are not to your disadvantage can take effect straight away.
The latest version is always at questrooms.se/en/profile/villkor. You can save or print the page. If you want an earlier version, we send it on request.
- A new law, a court ruling or a decision by an authority requires it.
- We change the prices of our games so much that the value of points needs to be recalculated.
- We change how the account works technically.
- We need to stop cheating or misuse.
16. If we end the programme
If we end the points programme, we tell you by email at least 60 days in advance.
During those 60 days you can redeem your points for rewards as usual. Codes you have received stay valid for their 90 days, even if the programme ends in the meantime. Points not redeemed when the programme ends are lost.
17. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time under Settings.
This deletes the account, your points history and your login details. Any points left are lost and cannot be restored. Codes you have already redeemed stay valid for their 90 days after the account is deleted. So redeem the points you want to use before you delete the account. If you chose the newsletter, we stop it at the same time.
Friends you have invited keep their accounts, but you get no more invite points for them.
If you create a new account later, we count your earlier games again under section 5.
Your bookings and the customer details in our booking system remain. Records that count as accounting records are kept for seven years after the end of the year in which the financial year ended, as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires. How long we keep other data is described in the privacy notice.
18. Your personal data
We process your personal data to provide the account and the points programme under these terms. Which data we process, why, for how long and what rights you have is described in the account privacy notice: questrooms.se/en/profile/integritet.
The newsletter is not part of these terms. You choose it separately with its own box when you create the account, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
19. We store when you accepted the terms
When you tick the box in the form, or sign in with a code or link, we store which version of the terms you accepted and when.
When the terms change, we store in the same way when you first use the account under the new version (section 15).
20. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms.
If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), arn.se. You can also go to a Swedish court.
